Guests of Zion Ponderosa have the option of participating in a day-trip river rafting experience. If you plan a trip to Bryce Canyon or are heading north on a day-trip from Zion Ponderosa, this may be an exciting option for you, and family or friends. On this rafting adventure, you will not be a spectator but will be part of the action. Professional guides will provide interesting tidbits of history of the area, and will keep you entertained on slower parts of the river. This Whitewater Rafting adventure is great for ALL ages, but not recommended for children under 50 lbs.
All River Guides are CPR / First Aid Responder Certified. They are also Certified by the State of Utah.

Note: These excursions are provided by a company that is not affiliated with Zion Ponderosa. * River rafting experiences are on the Sevier River which is "dam" controlled, and there are periods when the river is not flowing (no whitewater). During such calmer water times, float trips are available. Guides make these trips plenty of fun with "water cannons" and other water toys. Calm-water float trips can be booked in place of Whitewater at any time, and guides simply utilize a different portion of the River.
