Mandy Woodhouse provides the leadership, and direction
for all aspects of retreat activities. Zion Ponderosa has been a part of Mandy's life since she can remember. As a young girl Mandy looked forward to summer visits, and while in college she spent two summers working at Zion Ponderosa. She has her undergrad in Health Science and has worked in commercial gyms and private gyms for 10+ years. Mandy has her NASM Personal Training Certification and AFFA Group Instructor Certificate. She has organized weight loss camps, races, and manages, teaches, and trains many individuals in health and wellness. Mandy loves running, hiking, and biking. In addition to being the General Manager
at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, Mr. Kane holds a PHD in Outdoor Recreation and Tourism and is an instructor at the University of Utah. Michael has owned and operated his own resort in Wyoming and has had the pleasure of guiding President Bill Clinton on several adventures.
He is the author of a historical book on William Manly, a pioneer who explored the Green River region of Utah long before John Wesley Powell made his now famous explorations of the Colorado River in the 1870's. Mr. Kane is one of our expert instructors for outdoor wellness and recreation at Zion Ponderosa.
Jake & Kourtney Millard - Adventure Center and Concierge Managers
Jake and Kourtney
, manage the guest experience with outdoor adventure at Zion Ponderosa. Both are expertly trained (Southern Utah University) and experienced outdoor professionals who have spent years guiding people into the back-country of this region.
Whether it is rappelling into a secret slot canyon, guiding jeep, ATV, or other tours, spotting wildlife, or leading hikers on exciting excursions, Jake and Kourtney are outdoor enthusiasts and their love for the wide open spaces will rub off on you.

Margaret became a Licensed Massage Therapist
in 1996 and she is also a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. Her passion is healing work and she is excited to be working with Zion Ponderosa at the Juniper Spa. Margaret has used used her massage hands to relax and heal with Backroads cycling tours, chiropractors and physical therapists. Her massage modalities include Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Sports massage, Trigger point therapy, Hot rock massage, Reflexology, Scrubs & Spa wraps, Reiki energy healing, Aromatherapy and more. She is very passionate about Massage, a mother of two, and a person who loves cross country skiing, yoga, hiking and cycling.

Mark Wade - Presenter
Mr. Wade will offer evening presentations that will regale wellness retreat guests with stories of this region's history; the outlaws, pioneers, and Native Americans, and will also provide interesting insights to local geology, geography, and wildlife. Mark is the former Director of Tourism for the southwest region of Utah that includes attractions such as; Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Glen Canyon Natioanal Recreation Area, The Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and Capitol Reef National Park.
Mark is a professional hiking guide, outdoor photographer, videographer, writer, and has guided national and international writers, photograpers, film-makers, and travel experts through the scenic regions of southern Utah.
Our staff also includes expert wellness instructors, recreation managers, hiking guides, and dining managers.
