See and experience the wild west the way the first explorers and settlers to this
area did! Our wagon rides are popular with families and groups. Our team of
Belgian horses will take up to 20 guests on a nightly hayride. Space is limited,
so sign up early.
Children from ages 3 to 11 will enjoy crafts, nature hikes, games, and a horse
basics course while parents explore the wonders of Zion. Kids camp provides eight
hours of supervision and lunch. The camp is offered from Memorial Day weekend
through Labor Day. During other times of the year, childcare can be arranged with
advance reservations.
Learn the basics of mountain bike riding on our professionally groomed, 6.5 mile
course. We'll then shuttle you to Navajo Lake, a pristine mountain lake in a forest
of aspen and pine, located 10,000 feet above sea level. Spend the morning riding
miles of groomed trails around the lake. Relax by the water, or spend the day
fishing, canoeing or swimming before heading back to the resort via a 29-mile, 3,500
foot descent. A delicious picnic lunch will be served on the trail. The Navajo Lake
bike trip is available on select months. Call for details.

The swimming pool is always a highlight during the day and in the evening.
There is nothing like a refreshing dip in our beautiful new pool.
You just can't beat a game of hoops or tennis on our sports court in the fresh, morning
air of Southern Utah. Call a rematch? Our court is fully lit, so play again in the
evening. Our sand volleyball pit is popular, both day and night, for guest who want
to take their shoes off, relax, and eat sand.
Join the nightly fun at Zion Ponderosa. Every summer night our recreaton staff plans
activities including campfires with marshmallow roasts and sing-a-longs, ghostwalks,
and barn dances with the limbo!
Besides the pool and hot tub, tennis and basketball courts, and rappelling and climbing wall, sand volleyball
and other games will be organized daily. There are never enough hours in a day at Zion Ponderosa!
For kids too young for ATVs, go-carts will provide a little fun and excitement. Our go-cart course is safe
as well as challenging. Go-carts are available for children 8-15 years old.
Ready for some heart-thumping action with a modern twist to Wild Wild West? Try our paintball games, where
we provide your fatigues, semi-automatic guns, and paintballs -all included- for a great time!
