Mountain Resorts

A mountain resort near Zion National Park’s east entrance, Zion Ponderosa Ranch can be both your lodging and recreation headquarters

Located only minutes from the east entrance of Zion National Park, Zion Ponderosa’s mountain vacation resort offers a wide range of lodging options, including full hookup RV sites, cowboy cabins, cabin suites, and luxurious mountain homes. After you choose your lodging, you can build your own adventure, bundling our available recreational activities with lodging to save you money.

Our mountain vacation resort offers guests a variety of activities from which to choose, including ATV riding, swimming, rock climbing, rappelling, paintball, fishing, mountain biking, archery, shooting and horseback riding. Our horseback rides will give you a different perspective on Zion’s scenery, making you feel as if you have stepped back in time to experience the park as early cowboys and outlaws did. We have horses trained for every skill level, whether you are a first-time rider or a seasoned veteran. For our younger guests (under eight years old), we offer short pony rides led by one of our wranglers.

The main attraction for our mountain retreat visitors is, of course, Zion National Park. Utah’s most visited and oldest national park, Zion is a 229 square mile scenic showcase of breathtaking cliff-and-canyon landscapes. Its most notable rock formations are the enormous monoliths found in Zion Canyon, which tower to heights of up to 3,000 feet above the canyon floor. Zion Canyon is full of spectacular scenery, including hanging gardens, waterfalls, crystal-clear ponds and some of the greatest biodiversity in the state of Utah. Your Zion vacation at Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort will not be complete without a trip to Zion National Park.
