If you want to take a Utah vacation away from the crowds but close to a national park, choose Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort as your mountain resort. Sitting among junipers and pinions only minutes from Zion National Park’s entrance, our resort offers a wide range of accommodations, from tent sites to luxurious mountain homes. Zion Ponderosa offers the closest full hookup RV sites to the park’s eastern border as well as cowboy cabins and cabin suites.

Your recreation choices are practically endless at our mountain retreat. We offer a two-tiered swimming pool for our guests’ enjoyment, as well as horseback riding, rock climbing, ATV riding, shooting, archery, and paintball. Our dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will even make you a sack lunch for your day on the trail.

Zion National Park is full of excellent trails. It offers everything from a ¼-mile jaunt to a hanging garden (Weeping Rock) to a strenuous, 2.5-mile climb to a fantastic top-down viewpoint of Zion Canyon (Angels Landing). Some of the most popular trails in the park for first-time visitors are Emerald Pools, Riverside Walk and Canyon Overlook, one of the closest trails to Zion Ponderosa.
