Zion Ponderosa Resort, unique in adventure and outdoor settings presents the ultimate western experience. Cowboys up, as you see and experience the events that made and defined the true American west. Calf roping, team roping, team penning, barrel racing and mutton busting are some of the events to watch.
Admission is free for all guests and open for all. Hey dude, remember to bring your cowboy hat and be ready to hoop and holler up a storm. This ho down if offered twice weekly. Most of the activities listed below are available during our peak season only but please call our recreation department for specific details, availability and more information.
Please Note: Most recreation activities are weather-dependant and, therefore, may not be available during wet time-frames and/or cold months. This includes ATV tours, horseback rides, Jeep tours, and paintball. Canyoneering is specifically available between May 15 and September 1.
