Utah Travel

Southern Utah travel is more fun when you stay at an exciting place like Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort

Your southern Utah travel headquarters should be Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort due to its convenient location only minutes from the entrance of Zion National Park and its numerous lodging and recreation options. We have accommodations that will fit any budget, from tent sites to luxurious mountain homes. We offer our guests numerous outdoor recreation adventures from which to choose, including horseback riding, ATV riding and rock climbing.

Southern Utah travel does not get as fun elsewhere as it does at Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort. We offer guests a recreation barn, which features games such as billiards, foosball and ping-pong. Other open-use activities for guests of our resort are basketball, croquet, Frisbee golf, horseshoes, softball, tennis, volleyball, and swimming in our two-tiered pool. Mountain bike trails encircle our resort. We regularly host events such as barn dances, bonfires, guided hikes, ghost walks, interpretive talks, and movies.

The main attraction of southern Utah travel is Zion, the state’s oldest and most visited national park. Zion is a grand spectacle of cliff-and-canyon landscapes that includes hanging gardens, forested plateaus, and its signature formations – enormous sandstone monoliths that tower thousands of feet above canyon floors. Zion Canyon, the most popular section of the park, boasts some of the most famous monoliths, including the Court of the Patriarchs, Angels Landing and the Great White Throne. The park features hikes appropriate for all ages and ability levels.
