Zion Narrows hike
1. The Narrows
The Narrows is definitely a hike for the adventurer at heart. Hike a short way or go the full distance. This slot canyon has walls that soar up to 2,000 feet high and narrow to just a few feet wide in some spots—making it one of our top 17 Zion adventures for 2017.

3. Hidden Canyon Trail
Less intimidating than Angels Landing, Hidden Canyon Trail is still a thrilling, chain-holding, cliffside-hiking adventure with steep drop-offs. Avid hiking families often add Hidden Canyon Trail to their list of Zion adventures.

Canyon Overlook Trail | Zion National Park
4. Canyon Overlook Trail
Canyon Overlook Trail isn’t necessarily challenging but the scenery will make you feel like you’ve hiked to the ends of the earth. The 1-mile hike is ideal for families, especially at sunset.

5. Kolob Arch Trail
This all-day Zion adventure leads to the second largest natural arch in the world. Groups of up to 12 people can register at the Kolob Canyon visitor center for this 14-mile Zion adventure hike.

6. Weeping Rock Trail
A fairly short but steep hike, Weeping Rock Trail makes our 17 Zion Adventures list for 2017 for its hanging gardens and scenic beauty.

7. Emerald Pools Trail
Adventure doesn’t have to be an extreme physical challenge—it can just lead to something special. That’s exactly what you’ll get with the waterfalls and three tiers of natural pools that highlight this classic Zion trail.

Observation Point in Zion

8. Observation Point
There are two ways to experience this adventure: a 2,200-foot vertical climb from inside Zion National Park OR skip the steep ascent and hike across Zion Ponderosa to Observation Point (the best view in Utah according to Backpacker magazine).

9. Cable Mountain
The reward is great—a top-down view into Zion Canyon, yet only the most determined hikers attempt to reach Cable Mountain from Zion National Park. The good news is hikers can avoid thousands of feet in elevation gain (and cut the miles down by half!) by trekking across Zion Ponderosa. #bestkeptsecret

  1. Hello. My husband and I will be visiting Zion Park in early October of this year. I’m interested in your sunset jeep tour. Can you give me pricing for that? And actually, do you have brochure of other activities that we could consider with prices? I’d love to get it.
