5 Zion Adventures You Have to Experience This Fall

Autumn in Zion is beyond breathtaking. Colorful foliage perfectly complemented by Zion’s red sandstone set a magical stage for hiking in Zion Canyon, exploring East Zion’s slot canyons, horseback riding, jeep tours and so much more. And let’s not forget how pleasant Zion National Park is with fall’s cooler temps and fewer crowds! With that in mind, here are five Zion adventures you have to experience this fall.
1. Choose the trail less traveled
While it’s great to hike Angels Landing and The Narrows, there are other trails inside Zion National Park that fewer people ever experience. If you’re looking for hikes to beat the crowds, try The Watchman Trail, Hidden Canyon, or Taylor Creek in Kolob Canyon.
Outside the park, Zion Ponderosa features 4,000 private acres just waiting to be explored. Work off that Halloween candy with a hike through the autumn foliage to Observation Point or Cable Mountain.
