Located adjacent to the east border of Zion National Park, the 4,000-acre Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort makes a perfect venue for family reunions. Set among stands of ponderosa pine, pinion pine and juniper with a superb view of Zion’s striking monoliths on the western horizon, the resort provides a variety of accommodations every family member can appreciate, including tent camping sites, full hook-ups for RVs, individual cabins, and Zion rental homes. It offers lodging with or without meals, as well as a myriad of recreation options, from ATV tours to horseback rides to Frisbee golf. It also includes a conference room for family meetings and presentations.

When you plan a family reunion at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, you leave conventional accommodations behind. With your own private cabin, you will truly feel like you are getting away from it all and enjoying nature. Encircling the resort’s common area, which includes the recreation barn, dining room and main lodge, our luxury mountain homes include all the amenities you would ever want, in addition to unparalleled views of East Zion’s spectacular scenery from patio decks. Making an ideal headquarters for your family, our mountain homes provide amenities that may include satellite TV, DVD/VCR combos, outdoor Jacuzzi hot tubs, gas fireplaces, gas barbecues, play areas with billiards and foosball tables, and large, fully equipped kitchens. Some of the homes feature Western-themed rooms, antique furniture, and unique wall mountings.

Other cabin accommodations include cabin suites, which offer a private bedroom, a full bathroom, and a front porch. They can comfortably accommodate up to six people. Our cowboy cabins sleep up to six as well and include use of the shower house and other resort facilities. You can also choose to camp in a tent or park your RV or trailer next to one of our full hook-ups.

At Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, your family will not complain about a lack of things to do – the recreation options are practically endless! The resort organizes guided ATV tours, horseback rides, hiking shuttles, paintball games, and fishing tours. In addition, the resort itself boasts an outdoor pool, hot tub, mountain bike trails, volleyball courts, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a Frisbee golf course, a climbing wall, an archery range and billiards, ping pong and foosball tables.

Our conference room, gathering tent, or vacation homes each are ideal spots where the whole family can get together for family meetings, talent shows, or other gatherings. Our conference room can accommodate up to 80 people.  The large tent/pavilion, adjacent to our dining room, is also available for larger groups to gather or to eat all your meals together. It is a great place to have line dancing, play games, or just visit with family members. The resort will be happy to cater delicious meals for your family functions or for you to pack along the trail. The conference room offers audio and visual equipment for your presentation needs.
