Celebrate July 4th Near Zion National Park

Whether you’re vacationing at Zion Ponderosa or just passing through, there are a few can’t-miss events happening close by:

Free Music Nights at Zion Ponderosa—7 p.m. July 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26

Unwind as the sun goes down with free live music at Zion Ponderosa every Friday and Saturday night in July. Bring a blanket or pull up a camp chair, grab a milkshake from The Trailhead or some tacos from Kiki Dees Taqueria food truck, and enjoy a relaxed evening with performances from talented local artists.  

July 4–5: Orderville Sesquicentennial Celebration

Celebrate 150 years of Orderville’s rich pioneer heritage with two days of community fun. Enjoy the Orderville parade and fireworks on the 4th, and visit local vendors, games, entertainment, and small-town charm. This family-friendly festival just 30 minutes from Zion Ponderosa.

July 4: Kanab Independence Day Celebration

The canon blast-off at 6 a.m. is just the beginning of Kanab’s fun-filled July 4th celebration. Kick off the day bright and early with the Color Fun Run in the town center at 7 a.m., then head to Center Street for the parade, starting at 10 a.m. After, Jacob Hamblin Park comes alive throughout the afternoon and evening with food vendors, music, and a spectacular fireworks display after dark.

Enjoy the Rest of July 4th Weekend at Zion Ponderosa

After the parades and fireworks, enjoy the beauty, relaxation, and recreation at Zion Ponderosa. From relaxing by the pool to exploring the great outdoors, you’ll find plenty of ways to soak up summer without the crowds.

  • Swimming and hot tub: Cool off in the pool or soak in the hot tub after a full day of celebration and adventure.
