The holiday season inspires us to be reflective. As fall drapes over our beautiful Zion landscape in anticipation of winter, we’re gobbling up every precious minute outdoors with loved ones – and we hope you will, too.
When REI launched the #optoutside movement a few years ago, they gave priority to employees over profits. Rather than open stores on the largest shopping day of the year, instead REI paid 12,000 employees to spend time outdoors with family and friends.
The movement didn’t stop there. Millions of consumers across the country have been inspired to stop consuming and get outdoors. Here at Zion Ponderosa, we want to inspire you, too, with some of our favorite places in and around Zion.
Horseback riding at Zion Ponderosa (White Mountain Guided Horseback to Slot Canyon Tour)
Hiking around the Virgin River in Zion National Park.
Hiking across Zion Ponderosa to Observation Point.
Canyoneering near East Zion (Powell’s Way Guided Canyoneering Tour)
The view from Pine Knoll overlooking Zion.
A Zion sunset.
A zipline adventure gets the heart pumping while you soar across East Zion.
The view from Angels Landing never disappoints.
The gentle solitude of Riverside Walk in fall.
Hiking around the Virgin River and The Narrows in Zion National Park.
Wrap up a day of adventure with the ones you love most.
Just being in the great outdoors can make us feel happier and healthier. Being outside with loved ones over Thanksgiving and Black Friday weekend is a tradition we can really be thankful for. #optoutside
