Take your Zion National Park Fall Fun to a whole new level with these spooktacular fall activities and adventures.

Spooky Sunset Jeep Adventure

Being chased by the Headless Horseman on your way to Jolly Gulch is the least of your worries on this spooktacular Jeep tour. You’ll also have an opportunity to visit the haunted Jolly Cabin where you may even catch a glimpse of Mr. Jolley himself. Do you know the spine-tingling tale of Jolly Gulch? Watch the video below and learn more here. This nightly experience at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort is provided by East Zion Adventures.

Grafton Ghost Town

A raging flood wiped out most of Grafton in 1862 but the spirited townsfolk didn’t give up. After moving upstream, the town was plagued with continued troubles and abandoned in 1866. Another attempt at resettlement resulted in complete abandonment by 1921. Today, the town is haunted by memories evident in the ghost town’s cemetery tombstones and echoes of abandoned buildings.

Hike Angel’s Landing

Get your adrenaline pumping and conquer your fear of heights with one of Zion National Park’s scariest hikes. Be prepared for a spine-tingling climb near the top, where the trail is just a few feet wide with steep drop-offs on both sides. Chain handrails are there for an assist as you make the final ascent, scrambling over sandstone steps and boulders. Look down when you reach the top, if you dare.

See Fall Foliage

Take a day trip to nearby Cedar Mountain, just north of Zion Ponderosa, for some of the area’s prettiest views of colorful fall foliage. Peaking at over 11,000 feet, Cedar Mountain provides water to the Virgin River that flows through Zion National Park. This vast mountain plateau is home to Cedar Breaks National Monument, Navajo Lake, and a large section of the Dixie National Forest.
