Abandoned Mine Hike
This is one of our most unique and family-friendly guided hikes at Zion Ponderosa! Take in the sweeping backcountry views of Zion National Park landmarks as we head off in a UTV to the trailhead. From there, it’s just a short 1/4-mile hike to the mouth of an abandoned mine shaft. Once you enter the cave and get past the slightly spooky vibes, you’ll be immersed in the history of this former operating mine. UTV Follow Behind Tour
This is our only off-road experience that YOU get to drive! After a prep and instruction session, you’ll get to drive through East Zion’s spectacular backcountry, stopping at two main viewpoints for pictures. You don’t want to miss this brand-new adventure with East Zion Adventures! Helmets are required and provided, and equipped with speakers and microphone. Powell’s Way Canyoneering
Got 8 or 9 hours to spare and spirit for adventure? This full-day canyoneering tour is one for the bucket list. You get it all, beginning with a stunning off-road Jeep excursion into the heart of Zion National Park’s backcountry, followed by a beautiful canyoneering tour with…count ‘em….SIX rappels! S.W.A.T. Tactical Experience
This is the ultimate, high-adrenaline tactical experience, ideal for all skill levels. This experience includes basic firearm safety, gun range etiquette, proper holding and handling of guns and rifles. We begin our training with metal targets on an outdoor 50-yard range, then move to a progressive shooting range. Transportation, safety equipment, ammunition and firearms are provided. Learn more.
