Celebrate Thanksgiving at Zion Ponderosa—No Cooking Required

One of our favorite traditions at Zion Ponderosa is cooking Thanksgiving dinner for our guests—so you can spend more time making memories with family and exploring Zion. This year, trade kitchen chaos for cozy cabin vibes and a feast that tastes even better because you didn’t have to cook.
Thanksgiving Dinner—Leave the Cooking to Us
Served 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day
Reservations required
Your stress-free Thanksgiving starts at Zion Ponderosa. We’re serving up a feast that’s as unforgettable as the East Zion scenery. The menu includes seasonal starters, harvest salad, hearty wild rice soup, a traditional carving station with herb roasted turkey, glazed smoked ham, and slow roasted prime rib—plus your favorite Thanksgiving side dishes (did somebody say homemade sweet potato casserole?) and a full dessert bar packed with pumpkin, pecan, and apple pie and more.
Dinner reservations are available all day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ponderosa Eats, with takeout options available for guests who want to enjoy dinner in their vacation home. Walk-ins are also welcome as space permits.

Bring the whole family together under one roof in a spacious luxury vacation home, complete with cozy gathering spaces, full kitchens, and fireplaces perfect for winding down after dinner.
If your group prefers a little more privacy, spread out across charming cabin suites or tiny homes while still staying close enough to share morning coffee, sunset views, and evening get-t0gethers. Whether it’s a family reunion or an intimate holiday escape, Zion Ponderosa has a home for every kind of Thanksgiving gathering.
Make the Most of the Holiday Weekend
November is one of the best times of year to explore Zion. Cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and crisp autumn air make it the perfect backdrop for family adventures.
Think crisp fall mornings, porch views for days, and golden sunrises. Take a morning hike to Observation Point to stretch your legs and work up an appetite. Play a round of mini golf with the kids, or head down into Zion National Park for a leisurely stroll along the Pa’rus Trail or Riverside Walk.
If you’re feeling adventurous, book an East Zion Adventures jeep tour for a cozy, scenic backcountry adventure. Horseback rides are also available to book from Orderville and Kanab.
