Groups can request a specific activity for their stay to either be attended by all guests, or to be limited to only the group. Direct requests to Zion Ponderosa Event Planners.
Zion Ponderosa Stargazing
View the Milky Way from an elevated position at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort. At 6,500 feet in elevation, Zion Ponderosa's location on a forested plateau above Zion National Park, is far away from any light pollution of area towns and cities. This enables our guests to clearly view the brilliant night sky. Our guides will provide interesting information and stories about popular constellations.
Hot chocolate is provided.

Spring & Fall - Weekends only. After Dark.
Summer Months - Late evening. Check for times at recreation center.

Evening Activities Schedule -
Friday:
Campfire - Marshmallows and sticks provided. Times/locations vary. Bring your own chocolate and/or crackers. Weather permitting.
Saturday:
Make your Own Butter, Make butter like the Pioneers and hear tales of the Mormon Trail. Ponderosa Eats Restaurant. 6pm - 7pm. Weather permitting.
Sunday:
Yard Games on the Sports field - times may vary.
Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4 , Football Toss, Hula Hoops, Frisbees, Ladder Golf , Ring Toss and Bubbles. Free to all guests. Weather permitting.
